4/10-11, 17-18: SocialNightlife presents the 2nd annual Zero Gravity Coachella after-hours party.

For two weekends during the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, Zero Gravity will feature a mixture of top talent, emerging artists and special guest appearances on April 10th & 11th and April 17th & 18th. The Zero Gravity afterhours party will run until the early morning hours at the county fairgrounds in Indio, CA, fewer than two miles from the Coachella festival. The party will provide a fun and exciting late-night experience with performances both by well-known and up-and-coming DJs.

Coachella is over, and everyone seems to have the post-desert depression disorder; however, there’s always the exciting news to look forward to about Hard Summer Fest! On August 2-3, Hard will be hosting their 6th annual summer music festival featuring some (if not all) of today’s biggest acts. From Disclosure to Tiga vs Audion, there are too many to name. The new location in Whittier will feature 5 stages, catering to all your favorite electronic music producers. Get your tickets HERE while they’re still available.

The new location for HARD SUMMER will allow for more stages, more talent and more fans. Just 10 miles away from downtown, the Whittier Narrows Recreation Area is an urban oasis, a beautiful park boasting over 100 acres which will be converted to a major festival area. Five stages with over 75 performers will take the HARD SUMMER experience to a whole new level.

HARD Fest has many events lined up that you won’t want to miss!

Nothing to fear, SXSW is here! During this action-packed weekend, Hard Fest will be hosting an event on March 14, featuring artists like Boys Noize, Destructo, and many more at the Morphie Hangar in Austin, TX. Make sure you RSVP to the event. Oh, and show up early to guarantee entry.

On May 10, Hard Fest will take over the Hollywood Bowl for a funky evening featuring some of the pioneers of funk and synth-disco. You’ll freak out when you see Chic back at it on stage with Nile Rodgers, followed by the legendary synth-pop producer Giorgio Moroder. But wait, there’s more! You’ll also see performances from Destructo, Oliver, and Tensnake. It’s gonna be an evening to see everybody dance (clap your hands). Get your tickets HERE!

Congratulations to Daft Punk for sweeping all 5 categories at the 2014 Grammy Awards (though Taylor Swift wasn’t too pleased). The robot duo has come a long way since Roule and Crydamoure records, winning album of the year, best dance/electronica album, best engineered album, record of the year, and best pop duo/group performance! It was great to see Thomas, Guy, Nile Rodgers, and Pharrell accompanied on stage with all their past time buddies like Todd Edwards, DJ Falcon, and more. The heartfelt hug explains it all *tear*. Bravo!

Duck Sauce has been making more of an appearance lately, pumping out new material for their long-awaited LP. Today, the duo has released 4 tracks free for download, including the highly anticipated “Mondo” we’ve all heard these past 4 years. Listen and download the tracks below.

Today is a happy day for all you Coachella junkies. Looks like yet another great year to catch some worthwhile performances back at Empire Polo Fields. Many artists will be debuting some of their new material, such as Queens of the Stone Age, Chromeo, Duck Sauce, and many more!

As we can see, Pharrell and DJ Falcon will be performing at the festival. The force is strong with Daft Punk’s presence (as we have always seen them hang around the grounds for many years). Would this potentially mean that the masked robot duo will appear on stage? We shall wait and see.

Even though Coachella sold out early this year, there’s still good reason to head out to the desert. The parties, once a supplement to the Coachella experience, have now become a comparable (if not better) alternative to the festival.
