DJ Mehdi, artist under Ed Banger Records, has been producing and mixing music for quite some time now. Even before the Ed Rec days, he had produced two albums, Des Friandises Pour Ta Bouche and The Story of Espion.
Mehdi, and his partner Kourtrajmé produced Des Friandises Pour Ta Bouche (which translates to Delicacies For Your Mouth). With a hip-hop/rap background, the track “Le Cirque” from 2005 samples an accapella version of “Nasty Boy”, by Notorious B.I.G.
