We’re finally back in action once again, getting ready for an Ed Bangin’ show.

From his debut, live show he performed at the 2009 Sonar Festival in Barcelona, SebastiAn is back on the road, travelling all over the globe on his “Primary Tour”. This performance consists of his signature drops, distorted synths, and plenty of soul. Listen to SebastiAn’s long-awaited track, “Organia”! Performances by Sharooz, Destructo, and many more.
Come to Control this Friday 3/11 to check out Ed Banger’s Mr. Oizo! It’s gonna be a positif-ly bangin’ night. There will be performances by Tommy Lee & DJ Aero and more. Click HERE to enter to win tickets for 2 at Control by emailing the answer to this question:
Q: Which Mr. Oizo release features the track “Half a Scissor”?
So, we’re back from holiday in Paris and live again! We’ve got some great footage to show you from Parisian club Le Baron, featuring Jean Nipon (Institubes Rec.) in the mix!
Some updates for all you Cool Cats in the house:
Mr. Oizo’s soundtrack for his latest film Rubber is set to release on July 14, featuring a track with Gaspard Auge (Justice) and a Flying Lotus edit.
The Rapture’s new album, produced by Zdar (Cassius), is set to release sometime around July.
Ed Banger‘s MC Uffie is soon to release her new EP called MCs Can Kiss. The track is packed with funky elements, giving it an old-school feel. The track is produced by Ed Rec All-Stars Feadz, SebastiAn, and Mr. Oizo, including Pharrell Williams.
Check out Control to see a rare, first-ever US performance by Ed Banger‘s latest signee, Breakbot! From funky basslines to cut-up distorted beats, Breakbot has it all in store for you this Friday!
Ed Banger artist SebastiAn will be performing at Sonar 2009, with something new to show the world. SebastiAn is known for his heavy beats and twisted tunes, and now he brings to you something a little different. The stage setup is simply just a podium, like a church alter from hell.
During his set, SebastiAn pulls out something that makes the entire crowd go wild; the Pagliacci “Ross Ross Ross” mask.
According to Billboard.com, the reborn Electra record label has recruited the french duo Justice for their forthcoming album.
Justice‘s last album was released under the Because Music/ Ed Banger label, and was in some part responsible for the label’s recent successes.
I’m not too familiar with the details of the deal. Will this new change scar the connection between Justice and their former record label Ed Banger Records from France? What does their mentor Busy P think about all this? Will this change also have an impact on Justice’s funky style in their upcoming tracks as they progress through a more mainstream label? We’ll just have to wait till the time comes.
Elektra will simply control the distribution of the Ed Banger releases in the US.
