We’re here at Hardfest. If you’re at Monster, you’ve made a mistake … Flag us down if you see us at Hard. We’d like to say hello and snap a shot of you (while I’m still sober at least). Chromeo was in town last Friday to play a bit of their DJ Kicks material at Discotheque in downtown LA. Photos are up.

On a side note, I lost my fisheye attachment last night. If you’ve found it please let us know [...for karma points].

I don’t mind parting with it though. It was is horrible condition–all scratched up and shit. I just ordered a new Nikon FC-E8 attachment which should arrive by this Friday’s CONTROL where Mr. Oizo will be playing.

This Friday, catch DJ sets by Klever and Bird Peterson at Control. Discotheque will feature a DJ set by Chromeo, performing their DJ-Kicks mix, including sets by Mike B and Paul Devro.

If you’re out in New York, saturday is HARD NYC, where Crookers, Rusko, Major Lazer, Jack Beats, and Destructo will be tearing up the stage with the best bangin’ beats. Can’t afford to miss the first ever Hard Festival in New York…

Check out Avalon to see Felix Cartal drop some sick beats, including his new track “Drone”. Also, you can check out Discotheque to see DJ sets by BBC Radio 1′s Annie Mac, and residents Them Jeans and Destructo.

Legendary French DJ Alan Braxe will be performing at Discotheque on Friday, September 18. Expect to hear some of the finest French filter house from the 90s. Along with Alan Braxe, Steve Slingeneyer from Soulwax, also known as One Man Party, will be performing as well. Being the great drummer he is for Soulwax, we can’t wait to hear what beats he’s gonna drop. Resident DJ Destructo will also be there to join in on the beats.

In other news, Mr. Oizo has been booked to headline CONTROL at the Avalon on October 16th. More information closer to the date.

Rebounding from Hard Summer Festival, Hard is back again to redeem themselves with yet another mind blowing line-up on Halloween weekend. Splitting the event into 2 nights will give everyone a healthy dosage of electronic music for 16 hours.

The event has been relocated back at the original Hard Festival location at the Shrine Auditorium in Downtown, LA.
