We’re back. We’ve been in and out of town all summer long, but we’re back for the most part (and pumped to be better than ever). These photos have been on flickr for a while, but here’s the site post in case you’ve missed them. Here are out photos from this years Electric Daisy Carnival. Big thanks to Insomniac Events!

The Coachella experience is not complete without checking out the other parties happening in the desert. There are pre-parties, after-parties, and even parties happening during Coachella, of which some are better than the festival itself…. (yes, really.) We’ve compiled a list for you. Here we go:
BPM x Music Loves Fashion at the Riviera Palm Springs
Friday, Saturday and Sunday — April 16th, 17th and 18th
Pool party sounds and performances by DJs and live bands all weekend long.
Grand Ballroom events headlined by a DJ set from the Crystal Method and Joel Madden Friday night, and Shiny Toy Guns with Hybrid Digital on Saturday night
Coachella is so close, you can almost taste it. BPM magazine will be reuniting once again with Music Loves Fashion this year at the ever so fancy Riviera Hotel. The lineup for Music Loves Fashion will be announced next week so we’ll keep you posted. As for right now, there are some awesome hotel room specials for this fun-filled music weekend. Alright, troops―you know the drill. It’s that time of year again when your best buds at Anthem rally together for our annual Coachella desert decimation. We’ve been knocking your socks off, blasting you with music provided to you by some of the finest internal DJ’s around, liquoring you up with bars equipped with bottomless wells, and hooking you up with all sorts of radical products our sponsoring partners in crime throw our way.
We’re switching properties once again, and while we can’t tell you where we’ll be shacking up for the weekend of April 17, we can give you two keywords you’ll keep hearing for the next two weeks: LA GOON. That’s right, people―we’re taking it up a notch with the incorporation of a Tarzan, King Of the Jungle-style lagoon as our centerpiece. The usual accommodations will be duly provided, too, of course, from a huge pool to a bar fit to serve kings and queens. For both those of you who know the debauchery we dish out and the folks out there who have only heard about our festivities and haven’t actually been alike, let’s look at some photos and videos from our past successes…

Last Friday, we were at the biggest Control yet. I’ve never seen a line for the Avalon as long as the one for Rusko. I’ve heard that the house packed about 4000 people that night! On top of things, we even had trouble getting in, but once it was settled, we walked into one of the most intense gigs ever. The energy in the room was absolutely ridiculous. I suppose dubstep music is really getting big (…or rather IS already). Photos are up.
Friday night, we started out the evening at Siren Studios in Hollywood where Diplo played a special early evening DJ set. Sponsored by Kia Motors, this was the second night of the double-header event at the venue. Unlike the choas that was the Crystal Castles show the previous night, the show on Friday began sober, but by 9PM the energy ultimately built up to levels surpassing expectations. Thanks to the Kia people for putting on these two gigs. Hopefully we’ll see more of it in the months ahead. Following the Kia Soul Collective event, we drove a couple blocks over to the LA Ukrainian Center where Vice Magazine was hosting their 15th Anniversary party, sponsored by Hornitos Tequila. Reflective of my Junior High gymnasium, the choice of venue mimicked the 1994-esque cultural cliche theme perfectly. Though i have little recollection of this, the photos show that this event got wild by the end of the night.
EDIT: Photos are now on our flickr. Site post tomorrow…
We’re here at Hardfest. If you’re at Monster, you’ve made a mistake … Flag us down if you see us at Hard. We’d like to say hello and snap a shot of you (while I’m still sober at least). Many thanks to Gary, Tom and the Hard crew for setting it up. Hard photos as well as Shotgun’s Halloween Havoc photos will be up on here. We’ve got over a thousand photos (and counting) to edit.
