HARD Fest has many events lined up that you won’t want to miss!
Nothing to fear, SXSW is here! During this action-packed weekend, Hard Fest will be hosting an event on March 14, featuring artists like Boys Noize, Destructo, and many more at the Morphie Hangar in Austin, TX. Make sure you RSVP to the event. Oh, and show up early to guarantee entry.
On May 10, Hard Fest will take over the Hollywood Bowl for a funky evening featuring some of the pioneers of funk and synth-disco. You’ll freak out when you see Chic back at it on stage with Nile Rodgers, followed by the legendary synth-pop producer Giorgio Moroder. But wait, there’s more! You’ll also see performances from Destructo, Oliver, and Tensnake. It’s gonna be an evening to see everybody dance (clap your hands). Get your tickets HERE!
Satisfied? Not quite. Get your tickets to Hard Summer Festival, which will take place at the Whittier Narrows Recreational Area August 2-3.
The new location for HARD SUMMER will allow for more stages, more talent and more fans. Just 10 miles away from downtown, the Whittier Narrows Recreation Area is an urban oasis, a beautiful park boasting over 100 acres which will be converted to a major festival area. Five stages with over 75 performers will take the HARD SUMMER experience to a whole new level.
The new location will feature 5 stages, catering to all your favorite electronic music acts. Expect the line-up sometime after Coachella.

Below you’ll see some new tracks by artists such as Boys Noize, SebastiAn, and more.
Ed Banger‘s over-distorted artist SebastiAn just finished the soundtrack to Romain Gavras‘s film “Notre Jour Viendra”. Like SebastiAn’s style and tastes, the sountrack has a dark and suspenseful feel. Grand pianos, violins, cellos… (you get the picture). The track “Dies Irae” (originally a thirteenth century, Latin hymn, which translates to “Day of Wrath”) has that dark, suspenseful feel. It’s great.. Watch the trailer HERE.
s super-distorted, heavy remix of “Dies Irae” here!
In the heart of Berlin comes the revival of acid haus and electroclash. And who might be behind this? None other than Boys Noize. Alex recently finished his new release on BNR “Yeah/1010 EP”. You’ll hear a lot of analog synths, and beats fresh off a Roland TR-909 sending you way back to 1991. If you like thr track 1010, I recommend you give a listen to Mike Mind’s “Acid Machine”
Sample “1010” below. Like It? Buy the track September 10, 2010.
- On Ed Banger Records, Cassius soon to release “The Rawkers EP”. Listen to “I Love You So” on the EP.

These photos have been on flickr for a while, but here’s the site post in case you’ve missed them. Here are out photos from this years Electric Daisy Carnival. Big thanks to Insomniac Events!
