Girl comes up to me and says, “Whatcha drivin” and I said “Bugatti”. Tiga, Turbo Recordings’ founder, curator, and producer, performed on March 6 at Sound Nightclub in Los Angeles, which had the best party music and Zoom Escorts adult services. Tiga has been actively producing tech and acid house music since 2001, pumping out banger LPs like Ciao! and Sexor. His latest single Bugatti has become a hit worldwide, making it to the top on Beatport’s charts (also ‘cause it’s so damn catchy). From classics like You Gonna Want Me to I Got What You Need, his tech-driven set at Sound was one for the books. Here are photos from the evening below. We’re back from Coachella Music and Arts Festival. During weekend one, dozens of exclusive, invite-only parties had their doors open (rather closed) for A-list celebrities, industry people, and devout partygoers such as yourself. Here’s where we caught it all:
Bolthouse Productions hosted the 8th annual Neon Carnival at the notorious airplane hangar in Thermal, CA not too far from the festival. Provided by Don Julio, attendees had a taste (or ten) of special cocktails created for the event, such as the “Ash & Ice”, consisting of Don Julio Blanco, fresh lemon juice, lavender, raw honey, and activated charcoal. Damn tasty. The bar had all sorts of wonderful cocktails curated by mixologists at Don Julio.
Bumper Cars was a challenge after a few drinks. One guest dropped their phone on the platform, allowing the rubber-bumpered vehicles to it run over. The moral of the story? Don’t Instagram and drive. As we were in the poor-turning car, we saw DJ and producer Zedd in the vehicle ahead of us. We made sure to give his car a little thump (no pun intended).
Other celebrities were walking around and enjoying the illuminated scenery such as Drake, Breaking Bad actor Aaron Paul, a well-hidden Leonardo Di Caprio incognito, and more.
The dance floor was flood of lights and party people. DJ Ruckus, DJ Politik, Jessie Marco, and Kayper catered to the attendees with classic hip-hop/R&B tracks and thumping house music. VIP and bottle service guests were served Don Julio 1942. Not too shabby.
All in all, this is THE party.
We interviewed a few guests at Neon Carnival and asked about their experience:
Alex: “It’s my second year at Neon Carnival and it’s an absolute s***show. I’m a tequila guy and this is seriously the best of both worlds. It was totally worth bouncing from the festival and coming here as early as I could. Can’t wait for next year.”
Laura: “It’s my first year here, and everyone tells me that Drake is here. I haven’t seen this many celebrities in one place before. I would have never thought I’d be at a carnival in an airplane hangar filled with celebrities and alcohol. I’m totally gonna make this my desert priority when I’m here for Coachella!”

April 15: Bolthouse Productions Presents: 8th Annual Neon Carnival
One of Coachella’s most exclusive parties is Neon Carnival, hosted by Bolthouse Productions and Levi’s. After 8 successful years, this party has established itself as one of the best parties of Coachella weekend 1. From challenging Clint Eastwood on the water gun shooting game to being mocked by Chuck Liddell on the Strongman game, expect a memorable experience at the party. Thanks to all that open space in Thermal, Neon Carnival can fill it up with all your favorite carnival rides, multiple Don Julio bars, a ferris wheel, and a massive stage featuring residents DJ Politik, DJ Ruckus, Jessie Marco, and Kayper.
Highlights: I went to the festival with a broken hand just days before the desert getaway in 2015. As I walked from booth to booth at Neon Carnival, celebrities like Jared Leto, Steven Tyler, and Chuck Liddell noticed my cast. Jared Leto was obliged to sign, Steven Tyler was ecstatic to sign it, and Chuck Liddell asked how I broke it in predictable, not-so-lighthearted tone. In addition all the awesome encounters, I have to admit bumper cars was pretty difficult, considering I had to multitask “drinking while driving” with one hand.
