Even though Coachella sold out early this year, there’s still good reason to head out to the desert. The parties, once a supplement to the Coachella experience, have now become a comparable (if not better) alternative to the festival. This year over a dozen parties have been announced in the desert, many of which are free and have special performances from artists with time slots at the festival. As we’ve been doing for the last few years, here’s a list we’ve compiled of Coachella 2013 parties. April 11 & 18: There’s no better way to start your Coachella experience than attending FILTER Magazine’s 11th annual Coachella Pre-Party! Stop by for performances by surprise DJs, drinks, and for a great time. The secret location will be announced soon.

Each year during Coachella, we really get in the spirit to celebrate music and rad people and getting everybody together. Our hotel in the desert becomes a veritable clubhouse for nice people, artists and good vibes. During this years two Coachella weekends, we’re excited to host our fifth annual Desert Gold at Ace Hotel & Swim Club in sunny Palm Springs, California. Desert Gold offers festival goers the opportunity to relax, enjoy, network and recharge at an inspiring intersection of global creative culture and good vibes. Last year’s Desert Gold featured an art installation by Steven Harrington and performances by established and up-and-coming musical guests from around the world like Thom Yorke, Flying Lotus, Florence Welch, Questlove and more. This year’s Desert Gold partners include Third Man Records, Miss Lily’s, The Do-Over, NPR Music — they’re bringing their A-game to food, music and everything else your heart could desire.

April 12: Details @ Midnight will be happening this year featuring Nas! Last year, Asher Roth took the stage and the party didn’t stop.

April 12: Join G-Pen for an Exclusive G-Life Pool Party featuring Money Mark (Beastie Boys) and special surprise guests! There will also be Ed Banger Records’ Club75 pop-up store. RSVP HERE!

April 13: Armani Exchange and Bolthouse Productions have announced Neon Carnival 2013! Get ready for  intoxicated bumper cars action, carnival games, great DJs, and lots of NEON. Don’t miss out!

April 13 & 14: Lacoste L!VE is hosting their 4th annual Coachella party. This one’s for the history books. Last year’s party featured a DJ set from the hobbit himself–Elijah Wood, alongside Myles Hendrik and Busy P of Ed Banger Records. Arrive early as the event is very likely to hit capacity. Go to your nearest Lacoste store to enter to win admission to Lacoste L!VE’s desert pool party! Just go to your nearest Lacoste store and assemble your ideal outfit that you’d wear to the party. Take a photo of yourself, and post it HERE!

April 12-14: Diesel+Edun and Rolling Stone present “Studio Africa”, a weekend long celebration with music by White Light White Heat (with members of the Strokes), and many more. RSVP HERE!

April 12-14: Vestal Watch will be hosting their annual Coachella party. Come join the 3-day event with a hosted bar and surprise performances by bands and DJs! The event will be hosted at a secret location in Indio, CA.

April 13: Join SPIN poolside at the Ace Hotel in Palm Springs between noon and 5 p.m. for performances by ANTWON, King Tuff, Nite Jewel, and Chrome Sparks. RSVP HERE.

April 12-14 & 19-21: Join the Saguaro for another awesome party! Here are the details.

We are excited to announce our Saguaro Desert Weekender at the Saguaro Hotel in Palm Springs during both Coachella weekends! Next Friday, Private Label will be curating the day with DJ sets by Sky Ferreira, Rick Rude, and special guests. A Club Called Rhonda will be taking over next Saturday with DJ sets by Juan Maclean, Classixx and many more. Last but not least, next Sunday our friends at IAMSOUND will be presenting DJ sets by Agyness Deyn, Goldfields (live), Nick Grimshaw, Henry Holland, and IAMSOUND DJs.

944 Magazine and T-Mobile presents Neon Carnival 2012, hosted by Brent Bolthouse! Come by and enjoy the intoxicating carnival with all your favorite attractions and sets by DJ Jesse Marco and DJ Kayper. The carnival has everything from Oompa Loompas to clowns on stilts. Celebrities such as Danny Devito and Paris Hilton have attended the event in the previous years. The event is held at an airplane hanger near the Empire Polo Fields. It’s gonna be a wild one, so don’t miss out!

In 2011, Vestal watch company hosted “Vestal Village”, a massive party at a desert estate sponsored by Red Bull, near Coachella. They will be hosting another party in 2012, so stay tuned for the line up and more info!

It’s a special year for FILTER Magazine as they celebrate the publication’s 10 years of operation. FILTER is hosting their 10th Annual Coachella Kick Off Party, held at the Corona Yacht Club in Coachella. The line up in 2011 featured artists like Dam-Funk, Theophilus London, Active Child, and Fat Lip.

Ace Hotel Palm Springs will be hosting their annual Desert Gold event, from April 13-22!

As is our tradition, we’ll be celebrating with Desert Gold during Coachella — this year the Roadside Attraction edition brings together pan-global congregants of the church of music from electronica and jazz traditions to Afrobeat and beyond with artists, designers and wanderers to create an atmosphere evocative of the oddities and wonders that dot the highways of the West. This thing has a life of its own and its growing, so stay tuned.

Join the Royal House Las Vegas on March 23-24, as they host The Pastel Project, their outdoor music festival!

The Pastel Project is the first in the series of outdoor concerts and festivals on the Convention Corridor (Convention Center Drive) right off of Las Vegas Boulevard presented by The Royal House.
