We wish you all a happy new year. For those of you in Los Angeles tonight, prepare for a night of mayhem if you choose to countdown at HARD NEW YEARS EVE at the Palladium. If you’re still undecided on what to do tonight, click the link below.
Dim Mak Tuedays last tuesday was host to a special Christmas party. With Dan Oh and Them Jeans on the decks, the closure of the big room didn’t keep anyone from having a great time. I had a great time and somehow ended up home at 7AM……
In more downer news, my camera’s focus engine died that night, and it’s in the shop being repaired. In the meantime, being Christmas and all, please pray for its speedy recovery. A third of the shots came out blurry; here are a few of the rest:
About a month ago, we checked out Be the D.A.N.C.E. exhibit. On display were 70 Justice D.A.N.C.E.-inspired t-shirts hand-painted by Simone Wicks [hmm.. that's a lot of hyphens]. If you haven’t seen them yet, the designs are awesome. She’s planning on selling these shirts, so if you’re interested we’ll have details for you soon.
Ed Banger’s MC Uffie is soon to release her new EP called MCs Can Kiss. The track is packed with funky elements, giving it an old-school feel. The track is produced by Ed Rec All-Stars Feadz, SebastiAn, and Mr. Oizo, including Pharrell Williams.
So, this post is a placeholder for good things to come. Being extremely busy these last few weeks with various projects, work, classes and the sort, we’ve kinda fallen behind on postings. BUT, we’ll be back and stronger than ever next year.
Coming this week (i’m pushing to get these done by tomorrow):
- Photos from Be the D.A.N.C.E T-shirt event as hosted by Simone Wicks
- Photos from Shotgun’s Naughty or Nice Holiday Party
- Photos from Dim Mak Tuesdays X-Mas Holiday Party last night.
- Upcoming tracks and releases from The Bloody Beetroots, Soulwax, Crookers, Louis La Roche, Darling Records, Ed Banger Records, and much more..
+ other shit as well….
